Email Subscription Terms

These terms explain what you're agreeing to when you join the email list for Emmaline. By submitting your details through our sign-up form, you confirm that you've read and agree to the terms below. If you don't agree, please don't subscribe.
 

What you're signing up for

When you subscribe, you're consenting to receive marketing emails from us. These may include:

• New music, releases, and pre-orders

• Tour dates, shows, and event announcements

• Exclusive offers, merch drops, and behind-the-scenes content

• Occasional updates about what we're working on

We send these emails on a no-fixed-schedule basis — sometimes a few times a month, sometimes less.
 

The legal basis for contacting you

 

We process your personal data on the basis of your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You give this consent by ticking the opt-in box on our form and confirming your subscription. Consent is given freely, and nothing else on our site is conditional on you joining the list.

What data we collect

We collect the information you enter into the sign-up form, which is typically:

• Your email address (required)

• Your first name or name (if requested)

• Country, state, and or postal code for touring purposes

We may also automatically record technical details tied to your subscription — such as the date and time you signed up and the page you signed up from — as a record that consent was given.

How we use your data

We use your data solely to send you the email communications described above. We do not:

• Sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone

• Share it with third parties for their own marketing

• Use it for any purpose you didn't sign up for
   

Who processes your data

Our email list is managed through Drip, an email marketing platform operated by SerInt, Inc. Your data is stored on Drip's servers and processed on our behalf under a data processing agreement. You can review Drip's own privacy practices at drip.com/privacy.

Our store is hosted and managed through Shopify, a common ecommerce platform. Review Shopify’s own privacy practices at shopify.com/legal/privacy
Our website is hosted and managed through Wix. Review their privacy practices at wix.com/about/privacy.
 

How long we keep your data

We retain your data for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data, we'll remove it from our active list promptly. We may keep a minimal record of your unsubscribe request so we can honor it.
 

Your rights

Under data protection law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you

• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data

• Delete your data ("right to be forgotten")

• Withdraw consent at any time

• Object to or restrict how we process your data

• Port your data to another service
   

You can withdraw consent and unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email we send, or by emailing us at management@emmalineofficial.com. Withdrawing consent won't affect the lawfulness of anything we did before you withdrew it.

To exercise any of the other rights above, email us at management@emmalineofficial.com and we'll respond within the timeframe required by law (usually within one month).
 

Children

Our email list is not directed at children. You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to subscribe.
 

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version. Continued subscription after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
